One Hundred Thanks

301. The chill of a fall day
302. The warmth from the old wood burning stove
303. Plenty of fire wood – and lathe from this old house
304. Fear that is overcome by grace
305. A son in search for work – and purpose
306. Aches and pains – reminders to keep moving
307. A fresh fall breeze – mmmm
308. Son-in-law and daughter’s  wonderful craftsmanship and devotion to a project
309. Overwhelmed – a reminder to be prayerful
310. Sweet lunch with Country-Girl Daughter

311. Hope is a strong and confident expectation
312. Hope is the joy of our salvation in Jesus Christ

337. My heart was tearful this last week - His provision through hands-on encouragement....even though I didn't even ask...He answered
338. My secret prayer - I am hopeful and know I am loved by Him who knows….

347. Oh, the freedoms to speak my mind when I wish, whether others agree or not – “Occupy Portland”
348.  A troubled spirit drawing me to my knees and more prayer

351. Blessing and being blessed by our ‘new’ daughter
352. A visit from our former Scout Master – hearing him share of aging and the challenges he is facing – loving him, praying for him, appreciating everything about him
353. Veteran’s – serving today and all the yesterdays
354. Rain – the sound of it rushing down the gutters, sprinkling the leaves on the trees – lovely
355. Having breakfast with a new friend – she shares her painful journey – rejoicing in God’s goodness through it all, because it brought her to today
356. Butterflies in the stomach as eldest son prepares to make his journey – home
357. The yearning to be sent – the struggle to know how that should look – the blessing of knowing Who knows

362. An endless need to pray: rejoicing, praise, thanksgiving, confession and forgiveness, adoration, for the saints and those who have yet to know
364. Coffee with a long-time friend – encouraged by my blog – and we shared
365. Lighter mornings – darker nights – Fall slowly turning to winter
366. The Perspectives class on Community Development – it never grows old
367. Always food for the table – we are never truly hungry
368. Knowing these times are lean – and they may grow leaner – our God still will supply all our needs
369. Buckets of responsibilities – be anxious for nothing, but in everything always giving thanks
370. The Lord knows when we need a word of encouragement

371. Meeting someone today – same passion – working to encourage those on the front lines
372. God works in everything –even in the dark days of fall
373. Accepted for a Bachelor’s degree – Antioch school of Church Planting and Leadership Training
374. “Being there” for the young woman while she sorts out her pain and acceptance in Christ
375. Standing back, allowing my own children to sort out their lives while I can pray and listen
376. Spending the weekend with leadership friends at the coast – precious time
377. Reminded – again – we are all the same, struggling with the same struggles, saved by grace – together
378. Growing in friendships with women of all ages and stages of life
379. Arriving at the beach house – in the dark and rain – welcomed by six deer nestled together on the road outside the house
380. Introducing eldest son to friends at church

381. Things are tight – for everyone – God knows this – He knows the plans he has for us – in everything give thanks
382. Give thanks with a grateful Heart
383. Give thanks to the Holy One
384. Give thanks because He’s given Jesus Christ, His Son
385. Be filled with the Spirit…giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ…
386. Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you….
387. Give thanks when the oil runs out
389. Give thanks when food prices escalate
390. Give thanks …..

392. His greatness is unsearchable
393. I will meditate on His glorious splendor and wondrous works
394. He is gracious, merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love
395. All his works shall give thanks
396. His kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, enduring throughout all generations
397. He upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down
398. He is near to all who call on him….in truth
399. He hears our cry
400. My mouth will speak the praise of the Lord….let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever
