As I write, my two eldest daughters are moving their things into their old room. Yep - you heard me right!
They are moving home! If you've read the previous blogs, it is obvious this was not on the horizon. Let me fill in the blanks before I go on....

Heather and Anna have been room mates off and on over the past several years since they moved out. They recently have shared an apartment with Christina and it has worked out nicely. Since Heather is moving to Argentina (see her link on this blog) this next month, this left the other two girls needing another room mate. The search began as they scrambled to find alternative living situations.
It was a couple weeks ago when Anna gave us a call asking what we would think about her moving home. Being in the final months of her nursing school, and several other pressing details, she made the decision to approach us. Besides, she mentions - didn't we always say we would provide room and board to the kids while they were in school?
Oh - bring THAT up!
So, today the girls are all moved back into their old room - this time it looks like a tiny apartment! Heather will live out of her suitcases until her departure in a couple weeks. They said their tearful goodbyes to Christina, and are now realizing their lives are changing yet again. This is a week of "lasts."
I visited Carl today - taking some mail - and enjoyed having some time to visit with him. It's been a month now since he's moved out. He is having the usual room mate adjustments. He's handling it nicely, though. Adult life is hitting him quickly.
I finally made my way upstairs. All the redecorating ideas Autumn and I talked about will have to remain on hold. Carl's room is providing storage for the time being.
Oh wait !
In March we have a college student coming to live with us for 9 weeks!
